 Kimberly K. Patterson, DDS, MS
Dr. Patterson completed her dental hygiene, graduate, and dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Her two-year pediatric dentistry residency in New Orleans, Louisiana emphasized trauma, minor tooth movement, sedation, and management of children with special needs. A main focus of her treatment is the education and involvement of both patient and parent regarding care of the primary, transitional, and permanent dentitions. She has been in the dental field for 20 years.
Dr. Patterson is on the Board of Directors for the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce and serves as Secretary as well as Chair of the Ambassador Program. She is a charter member of the Lake Travis Chapter of the Circle of Friends, a non-profit fundraising entity that supports the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas (scheduled to open in Summer ’07 and replace the current Austin Children’s Hospital). This hospital provides medical care for children in the 46-county Central Texas area. She has also been named as the pediatric dental consultant to the Cleft Lip and Palate Team at Children’s Hospital. Dr. Patterson also currently serves on Austin’s organizational committee for Memory Walk, the Alzheimer's Association's national fundraising event to serve those battling Alzheimer's disease.
Dr. Kimmie lives in Lakeway with her two ‘furry’ children, Brewster and Bombay, and her mother lives just around the corner from the office! |
